Mr. Hum, I constructed my set from a double thickness of 3/4" MDF W/large bolts through the bottom layer, before gluing the top layer,and Acorn nuts for feet. I also increased the footprint to15 1/2" X 12". The result is pretty stable. They have been wobbled more than a few times, but never fell (Weebiles, I guess?) This allows you to make use of the resonator properties of the device.
Which ever way you decide to go I'm sure you'll be more than pleased by the results.......HAPPY LISTENING!!!
