I have seen people talk about using a blanket to cover the tv set in between the speakers and putting sound absorbing materials on the side walls to get rid of side reflections. Wouldn't treating the tweeter and mid of the speaker will prevent to a certain degree sound from reaching the tv set and side walls?In fact, I tried this treatment on both my satellite speakers. It changed the sound quite a lot. I am not so used to it yet. I guess I need more time to really make an assessement about it.
My initial impression is that the sound becomes more dynamic, more defined but looses some spaciousness.
