John,Yes, they are the 2" thick pannels. What benifit does doubling up provide? Or more importantly, what is detrimental about single layers. When doubling up should the pannels be placed flat side to flat side with the textured surfaces facing outward?
If the pannels are positioned in the places we are discussing will there be more benifit if the pannels are placed aginst the wall or should there be a gap of say a few inches between the wall and back of pannels?
Additionally, the texture surface of the pannels looks symetrical so why the reference to horizontal placement as opposed to vertical?
Lastly, would corner placement be more appropriate than locations behind the listening position and between the spakers?
