Small room acoustic treatment – is it possible?

I read a lot on the net and get overwhelmed with information.
I've got small bedroom 12' (10' without closet) by 9' by 8' . I could do almost every thing I want with it. Is it possible to treat it to make listenable? It got bed against small wall and bookshelf in the corner. I'm thinking to put round bass traps in the corners and first reflection points on the long wall and acoustic panel behind. Is it acceptable idea or I miss something?
What size should be round bass traps and how many of them? Or better use acoustic panels at first
reflection point?
How deep should be acoustic panels? I look at Jon Risch updated post about panels and got a questions because locally I can get fiberglass or rockwool bats and OC703 1'. Should I get OC705 or OC707 from internet or make 9” deep fiberglass panels? Is it critical how thick should be wood sides?
Or material -wood, plywood, mdf?
Am I missing something? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Vlad.
