I actually don't sit close to the wall behind me. See the diagram below.

1) Side Reflection Point (right side only for my case - see diag) - check
2) Bass traps in corner (right side only for my case - see diag) - check
3) I was a little unclear as to the reflection points behind the speakers, were
you saying there WAS a reflection point behind the speakers....because later you
stated that the only reason to place a panel behind the speakers is if you had a
rear port....
By the way, thank you so much for your time. I just was a little unclear about
the panels going behind the speakers. As you can see, my room is assymetrical,
which may be problematic.
I can also place some panels on the ceiling or the back corner behind the couch
to absorb more bass.
Anyway, I guess I could always build 3 or 4 panels and then experiment with
placement.
