a couple questions about jon risch's DIY acoustic panels:

1) is there any substitution that someone can use instead of rockwool for the back of the panels?
2) what does he mean by "fiberglass WITH PAPER BACKING stapled at the edges to the middle side edges of the vertical frame members"? does that mean only stapled to the middle left and middle right of the frame? and if so, wouldn't it need a staple at the top as well? and how do you staple it to the sides if it fits the frame perfectly and there is no excess part to staple?
