Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
Hi,
I am new to room treatment and planning to DIY some acoustic panels for my HT room. With the help from Jon Risch and I very much appreciate that, my bass traps are under construction now. Now I am planning for panels to hang on the wall. I have been reading a few interesting posting across different forum and quite impressed with Jon's recipe. Before I jump into 703, I am wondering if I can use acoustic cotton to replace 703? Is there any acoustic measurements on the acoustic cotton? The reason is that if I can avoid dealing with fiberglass at all.
The sensible sound solutions carries the acoustic cotton with all different sized similar to 703. Has anyone had any experience to share?
Thanks,
--Tom
