One can Band-aid it, but it would be futile.Bass traps, whether they be 1/4, 1/2 or full round, are the only real solution to passive room mode(s) control. One can also deal with it in the digital domain BUT this will be limited in it's range...not to mention the line signal insertion losses/degradation.
ASC products are on the spendy side but they are the most effective and the highest quality products in the Acoustic science field today.
