This will work, and it isn't real difficult to do. Get a radio shack SPL meter and either a signal generator or a test CD. Take the drivers you want to align and wire them out of phase with each other.Run a test tone through the speakers at the crossover point and measure the output. Move the speakers apart relative to each other until you measure the lowest output. Once you have found the lowest output at the crossover frequency, put them back in phase and you have them aligned!! This really works well.
