I'm in a bit of a quandry. I'm stuck in analysis mode on buying / building acoustic absorbers.Burlap is obviously a good material sonically (and for cost) but, well, it's burlap regardless of the color it's dyed. WAF factor is very low.
How much nicer is Guilford FR701 appearance-wise than burlap? Is there any major sonic compromise involved?
From internet pictures, Guilford certainly appears nicer but is 5X more expensive, too. But how nicer looking is the question. I can't find this Guilford stuff in the local fabric stores here so I need input.
