Yes, the big multi-roll bags would be fine, as long as the price is not an impediment for you.Re using acoustical ceiling tiles or other types of 'acoustic baord' on the rear of one of my DIY sound absorbing wall panels, these may be too dense, and will be likely to reflect some amount of midbass and midrange unless covered with a minimum of 6" of fiberglass (and a layer of polyester batting of course!). SO if you are trying to use these types of boards/tiles to reduce the total thickness of the wall panel, they will not help much in that regard.
