Building a stiff, sturdy box that size is a challange, but realize that it is NOT actually attached to the planar speaker, just butted up agaihnst it with foam sealing strips, hence very little of the frames vibnratins are transfered to the cabinet, and the extremely large size, approaching that of a large refrigerator, fully stuffed with acoustic absorbing material (which very few commercial boxes do) WILL absorb all the internal modes, and damp many of the cabinets panel modes, which are only excited acoustically, not via direct transmission.All that said, one bass trap directly in back of a planar speaker will do more than your entire list of tweaks, guaranteed.
Yes, it is good to anchor the panles, and to assure tha they are not rocking or moving, but I tend to assume this has already been addressed by most planar owner's, as they find the improvements they offer.Jon Risch
