Sorry to side track your thread, just want to ask Jon a question on the DIY bass trap.

Jon,
I am planning to build a 3 ft bass trap based on your recipe. I've already prepared the raw materials for a 16" diameter (12" inner diam)
except the fiber glass wool. I called the fiberglass wool supplier and they only have a maximum thickkness of 2" with a density 10-48 Kg/m3.

If i get the 2" thick @ 10Kg/m3 density,do i need to wrap/roll into the hogwire to make a 6" thick ?? or just 2 rolls is enough??

regarding the rolling/wrapping.
Do i need to roll it 3X contineously then seal it at the 3rd roll or I have to cut+seal for each roll ??

Appreciate if you could enlighten me on my queries.
