I was only partially goofing. I do need some way to disguise these things so I think potted ivy plants or spider plants on top would soften the appearence.My problem is that she worked CES several years, so she's actually seen all these treatments in the rooms and thinks that they look like crap. I have no latitude to BS about the minimal visual impact of large columns.
