RE: I've never bothered

Geoff, in response to your reply to Unclestu. I don't think that it is "some weird reason" that he misrepresents your position. I think it is a deliberate position. I am not surprised that you (and I) have to regularly challenge (and counter) what Unclestu says we think or believe.

He regularly misrepresents, or misinterprets what you (and I) say and has just done the same thing again in a recent reply to Lew as in inferring/suggesting/implying that if we (anyone) challenges an explanation of the effect on the sound of such as certain crystals, then we either have no knowledge about RFI and electromagnetic interference or even do NOT believe in RF or EMI. As in his reply to Lew :-

> > > "Of course if you do NOT believe in RF or EMF then this explanation will not apply." < < <

To which Lew had then to reply :-

> > > "Dear Uncle Stu, I certainly do believe in RFI and EMI. Where did I say otherwise?"

How many times in the past have I had to respond, personally to Unclestu, with the words ?:-

"Will you please STOP putting words into my mouth which I do not say or think"

I am in the process of trying to formulate a considered response to Unclestu and Unclestu's explanations but unfortunately it has become too long already to post on such as the Audio Asylum chat forum.

And, before Unclestu misrepresents again what I think, I will repeat what I have said consistently before.

I KNOW about RFI and electromagnetic interference.
I UNDERSTAND what RFI and electromagnetic interference can do, sometimes, to the actual audio signal traveling through audio equipment.
I BELIEVE that RFI and the electromagnetic effect is everywhere, in the modern environment, and is causing problems regarding 'sound' and how we resolve the complex musical information we are attempting to listen to and enjoy.

Geoff. I know your reply to Unclestu below will be a sentence born out of frustration :-

> > > "As I said before you see RFI/EMI behind every tree" < < <

RFI/EMI might even BE behind every tree !!! But Unclestu so obviously believes that even when RFI and EMI might BE behind every tree, the explanations he puts forward has even the RFI/EMI, from behind the trees, having an effect on the audio signal traveling through the audio equipment !!!!!

Yes, an exaggeration on my part, I know. But Unclestu has tried to correct me in the past by saying that even such as static, on an AC power cable, some 20 feet away from any audio signal, could be having an effect on the audio signal traveling through the audio equipment.

Regards,
May Belt,
Manufacturer.
