Check the link below,your after the "Curcio Daniel Auto Mute" circuit board.
Uses one tiny circuit board for both channels.Requires about $15.00
worth of parts.It does use a relay.I built one for my tube pre amp and it works great.Has a 45 second turn on delay(stock)and an immediate turn off.
