I suggest the following in the order of preference for amps -1) Dedicated line
2) Good wall outlet (cryoed hospital grade, for eg)
3) Low inductance power cord (without any filtering and other things)
4) Power conditioning is a must for digital components, maybe with preamps.
5) Better speaker cables (some can reduce the background noise/hash which you think never existed)
6) Power Amp with good power supply.
If you have exhausted all these then it is worth pursuing a power conditioner for the amp, all IMHO.
