Hi Dreamlord
Your wery fine Musical Fidelity A1, has a 2*12V 5,0A (120VA).
There is a huge differece between capacitors. I your amp
its only the capacitors after the 0,5 Ohm resistors that is
critical. In my A1 I use a lot hi-speed capacitors in paralell and I
have more than 400.000uF (100.000uF before the resistors and the
rest after.) It sounds great. Just remember to change the brigde
rectifiers to a appropriate type.
