My first line said it was probably class AB1. What _is_ your point?An amp that does not stay in class A at all levels, is not a class A amp, it is a class AB amp, by definition.
If it has any class A operation at all, it can never go class B. There will always be conduction for a small part of the 'shutoff' half-cycle.
