I would hardly characterize my position as 'insisting' and I certainly was not disgusted in the debate. Please be a bit more careful in how you characterize ones position on various subjects.
To answer your question regarding the measurement - I did not make any adjustment to the drive level and am quite convinced that the series connection gives the same SPL level as a single driver and the parallel connection results in a 6 dB increase in SPL level over the single driver. I was absolutely convinced by the experiment.Fred H.
