Okay, now what about this ????

I was interested in doing a vertical line array wired the same way as a Blose 901: Three banks of three 8 ohm drivers wired in a series parallel combo. Each bank is 24 ohms but there are three banks. This brings total impedance back to 8 ohms. Any guesses as to SPL if starting out at about 87 db's for a single driver ??? What about phase problems ???

I could also do an array of four series-parallel circuits consisting of two 8 ohm drivers in each. This would give me a 4 ohm load. I would prefer keeping the impedance up in this specific situation, but if spl and phase suffer badly, i'll deal with it. The guy that would end up with these is brutal on equipment and i need to do the highest spl / best performing / easiest load on the amp as is possible with the specific drivers we have on hand.

Any and all help appreciated. I'd like to know if this is feasible or not before investing further time and efforts. Sean
