Just to be odd man out...I did a setup in a previous abode where I wired 6 separate lines... one each for:
1. low-level analog (turntable, phono preamp, active xover)
2. low-level digital output-side components (DAC)
3. low-level digital input-side components (CD Drive) & tonearm air pump
4. hi-current main amp
5. hi-current sub amps
6. speakers (sometimes used electrostatics then)Initially I wired them all to separate breakers. But while I was wiring it up, I ran the system all through the first line... and it was magical. Then after I finished, I moved everything to their appropriate lines... and it was clean, but didn't gell like it did when everything was on the one line. So I played around with it and finally settled on having lines 1, 2, 4, & 6 going to one breaker and 3 & 5 going to another... and placing the breakers on opposite sides of the buss. I know that goes a little against the grain, but that's how it seemed to work best at the time.
So basically, I agree with BAT... I did something a little different, but when I do it again, I will start with multiple lines going back to a single breaker and see if splitting any out help.
