Each circuit go streight from the Hydro pannel streight into each component, with a Shurter connector soldered on the end.
http://www.takefiveaudio.com/ac_connectors.htmI could have run 4 seperate circuits, put an outlet box and receptacle on the ends. And then run a power cord to the component... but why? This is my house and well the line sticking out of the wall yes.. that is not code... The Ac lines that run through the house are run to code. This way elliminates the need for expensive and -(stupid expensive) $2000 power cords.. One direct line and nothing on that line to pick up interferance. I don't know how you could get better than that. Running the line through conduit.. but I have twisted the wires, and that will work far better than conduit.
Besides running a seperate ground line apr 50 feet away from the house, (for my audio circuits) so that they done pick up any grounding noise from any of the other circuits in the house...!
And adding expensive power conditioning. I think this is the ultimate AC installation. Well I could have cryco'd the AC lines.I did think of running a 220 line feed to a small pannel box 5 feet away from my gear and wireing off that bus. That would work also.
I have tweaked and cryro'd and run silver cables. and isolated and upgraded and tube rolled and sandboxed....... but running seperate lines by far has made the greatest difference; a massive difference cost $100 bucks.
Run seperate lines definitely.
Twist the wires.
Proper sheilding from other hydro lines and sources of interferance.
Proper Grounding.
High grade receptacles. And thanks for the input from all the hecklers..
and yes I did wire directly in and out of my phono stage... if you can why not?cfn
