I'm just not sure how and if they translate directly to what we hear.
In-circuit measurements are cool. But even with good scope (Tek 485), precise DMM, distortion analyzer, etc., I'm still not able to do measurements precise enough to tell most of the important differences between those good opamps. For instance, I can only measure THD down to 0.1%. Many of these opamp has THD of less than 0.001%! Measurement is not as fun as listening either. This is a hobby and I will only try to do it when it's still fun. One day maybe...
