Thanks guys! I had 8 of the LT’s just sitting around collecting dust because the last time I tried them in my "test bed" (a Linkwitz Orion active crossover), they were noisy. Recently, I converted the crossover to run off SLA batteries instead of the Marchand PS I was previously using.Well, I just got through replacing the OPA2134's with the LT's on the midrange channels and there's good news and more. The LT1364's are now as quiet as the OPA2134's that I just pulled out and IMO they sound quite significantly better. The LT’s have much greater transparency and less grain. They also seem to be notably more 3D sounding. Think I'll go with OPA627BP's on the high frequency channels and leave the 2134's on the bass. Cheers, mac.
