Home Radio Road

Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

RE: Stereo Surgeons - Ken Bernacky Bad Business?

Not for me. I sent him a Sansui for an upgrade about 5 years ago. Got it back in 2 months and it worked perfectly. I visited and spent some time with him. He's a character with some strong opinions but struck me as a straight shooter. His communication with me was excellent and he was very organized in his repair process.

All these guys get backed up from time to time so there's a chance you'll be out of commission for awhile with anyone. Two to four months is usually the norm based on the 4 to 5 different people I've dealt with. I have waited longer and agree that it's worth pursuing other options if you think you're going to get stuck. The other tuner repair reference provided is worth checking out.
