While I'm at it - also finished playing with Eico's only multiplex adaptor. Turns out to work and sound very nice. Post alignment, the design provided decent stereo separation (25dB) to 1Khz AND maintains maybe 20dB up to 10Khz. With many other early tubed circuits I've measured, the separation above 1Khz deteriorates rapidly - like 8 to 10dB.
It also uses a bunch of .05Mfd ceramic capacitors in the audio path. Upgrading these and the 50Mfd electrolytic caps at the output markedly improved the sound.
