Beater: Target Aquired, Intercepted.

I found a beater tuner today. It is a mint condition Yamaha Natural sound TX something or other. Price: $15.00

Have it plugged into power conditioner, 20 feet of Belden 75Z coaxial, and I have to say that it sounds pretty damn good. At very least the LA Classical station is rocking hard in my living room as I write! I can say it certainly does not suck. There is great separation indeed, and the harmonic content of the wood solo is well portrayed. This will do for now, AND, it is 1U thick so it and the power Monster can hide in the corner behind a large chair in my new condo.

Test Set Up: Yamaha Tuner > 6DN7 parafeed pre amp > battery power TA2050 amplifier > Open Baffle w/ DC Gold ND7 and AE 15 bass drivers w plate amp. I would imagine it might sound even better tomorrow. Great beater.
