Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

Thought I would post a 'heads up' on this stellar performer.
BTW- the RCA 12DW7 (7247) comes in two versions. The taller plate (about 3/32 taller) than the short plate RCA sounds best. These are usually labeled 12DW7 (not 7247). Also seen these RCA tall plate in a Philco label.
