I forgot one tube- the rectifier. The EICO Classic 2200 is quite sensitive to the rectifier & only the Mullard EZ80 performs well here. I also tried a few EZ81 without much success.Anyways, for EZ80 types, I tried Siemens, many US brands, RFT, Telefunken, Amperex and a few others. That rectifier position is more sensitive than rolling rectifiers in my DIY power amp- go figure.
