Here in Portland, OR the jazz station I listen to daily can do better than many cd's. This is through a modded Kenwood and yagi antenna. It's not nearly as good as audiophile grade cd's but is better than alot of cd's I've heard. This is assuming the recording they're broadcasting is of high quality. My system is Krell KRC-3 pre, Parasound HCA 3500, Marantz SA8260 cd player and Vmps RM 40 speakers in a dedicated listening room so it's a pretty resolving system is my point.
