Two of them are being broadcast from two different universities and the other one is the CBC radio of which uses less or no compression at all. I listen mostly to folk roots, live fed from anywhere in the world jazz or classical concert and jazz music programming. The sound quality coming out from my Nikko Gamma V and or AKAI VO5 tuners rival that of a good analogue set-up.I do listen to a digital radio as well which is being fed through my digital/hd cable provider however, the sound quality on it is just as good as the earlier Redbook cd player I only turn them on when I’m doing something around the house and or having dinner. It does a good job as background music.
