Yes, satellite programing will definitely dominate the radio market. Broadcasters in major cities are reducing or changing programing.Being in N. Michigan, quality FM stations will be around for a long time. That includes the famous Interlochen School of Music broadcast station for local FM broadcast classical music with satellite download broadcasting as well. Half a dozen other stations with rock & blues/jazz having quality signals exist & are performing well in the local market. Fortunately, northwest northern MI is a growing community.
As for investing large dollars in a FM tuner, I wont myself. Perhaps $100 is invested in my EICO tuner.
