Friend of mine has one but he don't use it no moh!I would always counsel only ver using and RF amps at the mast head right at the antennas terminals is best, other wise you get a LOT more noise. BUT before using an amp it is best to increas yr signal strenght vai the antenna system itself. stacking two of the exact same type can help.
Do you know how good the Wg is down around 88Meg? pattern, and gain? do you have a rotator? No? getb one
are there other stations within 100 miles, on or near these low-band frequencies. Down here in Oz a lot of country towns use 88.1 as a Tourist and info channel. So selectivity of the radio system 'tenna down around there ain't a bad idea.
