Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

In tha range, get a Philips 673/6731. A very good DX'er, something like 6 on the TIC list and an excellent sounding FM tuner, good enough to replace my McIntosh MR77. Plus if you want AM as good as it gets, this is the tuner to get. The AM was design for serious listening. The Philips was the first AM tuner I ever put in my main system and actually listened to for any length of time.
