Great tuner needed

Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

Cat trashed the modified Rotel.

I have a Fisher KM-60 & Eico 2200 with mods. What is a available great sounding tuner as I have not owned higher-end? $500-800 range is ok.

McIntosh MR-74 or ?
