Can you sling solder? DIYer extraordinaire Steve Bench has provided us with an excellent option, other than something "vintage".
You may have to JFET buffer the tubed tuner's O/P.
BTW, Mr. Bench is a BIG TIME "tube head". Don't worry about the "sand".
