Hey Timbo!......here in Perth ,West Australia our FM comes fronm the same tower as our TV broadcasts(in particular ABC FM).
It's the main booster tower for most stations to all areas south and north of the city. So, naturally, we all use our tv antennas (mine is a huge high gain job)to receive FM.
Watchya reckon?.........should we be using something else in antennas?
Will there be a benefit in sound quality(reception is pretty good from my end and low in background noise, sound quality is great, whether I'm using valve or solid state, cheap or expensive - it doesn't seem to make any difference)?
Cheers,
Rob.
