Yes, an FM station that did not have HD capacity. The Sony is HF frequency limited. The Eico is so wide open, it could never be a DX machine.
Another EICO 2200 Classic weakness:
I need to build a filter to remove HD trash in FM analog transmissions with HD in the transmitted signal. Some one could make a lot of money offering a kit as a lot of old FM tuners are out there. I have no time to do that.
