I'd appreciate opinions of new tuner brands/models to consider, solid or tube, for prices not to exceed $500 retail. The unit being replaced is an old Yamaha T-1020 that I bought at a garage sale.
I don't need AM, but if its in the package, that's OK.
I live in New Mexico. There aren't a lot of good stations to choose from, so I don't need super separation.
My amps are Ayre units; speakers are Infinity Renaissance 80's.
Thanks for the advice.
