I had checked the Archives, but there wasn't any info on the KT90s in this amp...I realize that there are too many variables to state that tubes will always sound great/bad. I really wanted to know how much range I had to play with the bias, so that I could listen for myself--it looks like I better not exceed 100mA per channel.
So far, I too, prefer the E34Ls. As a matter of fact, right after the VTV EL34 "shootout", I was able to pick up a nice RUBY matched quad of the old style (Czech) Tesla E34Ls that they raved about; and I am currently using them. They don't have the bass of the Svet, but I am currently using subs--which makes it less of an issue.
