One more thing; for power tubes and preamp tubes, the myth that NOS last longer is pure BS. I suspect that most faulty "NOS" (nearly all "NOS" have been fired up) have been culled long ago, giving them an artificially inflated rep for reliability. The GZ34s really do need improvement, though.
