It's true the new MK II and especially MK II.2 versions are superior to the Novacron's variation of the MK I. The Novacron will only do 100 watts into 16 ohms loads, not 8. An autoformer, like the factory Z Music Transformer, or the Speltz Zero, can make this power problem go away.
