RE: Usually when a tube is gassy

When a tube is new and has never been heated up since leaving the factory you will have the occasional power tube that still needs some improvement in ther vacuum. Ha nothing to do with a cracked or leaky glass.I've seen it and so has someone else I know who has been selling NOS tubes since 1969.
