RE: Best 12BH7A NOS US made for QuickSilver V4 driver

RCA 12AX7 black plate is a very musical tube. Killer in preamps. Phono stages like neutral and clear sounding tubes. Westinghouse 12AX7 short plate with the center bump in the plate are best I heard. The Brimar CV4004 (12AX7) box plate is also good, but expensive.

Little experience with 12BH7, bit I would start with RCA. Square getter RCA is likely best of the RCAs. These are square getter RCA at good price. ebay item number 294190158366
