Would you expect supply of 5687 to dry up quicker than demand? I guess theres no real answer.
I did notice that Kondo broke away from his 6072 to 5687 for his recent amplifier and used 12BH7 as the CF driver in (I guess) lieu of 5687 and it got me thinking about the owners of the other amps that use 5687 and what will happen with time.
I have noticed that 5687 would have about the most common heater/cathode leakage problems of any type I've tested and was thinking that maybe they're hard to get right.
