my E83CC were charming for the first 20 minutes - after 1 hour audition everybody said that this type "is ugly sawing".
i can not report about other small JJ twin tubes but on my tube tester those eight E833CC pieces once showed extreme different values (20-40%) per tube and among the flock. they had nothing in common with small old stock tubes IMO.
JJ`s KT88 were the worst i ever heard. sorry.
the only positive recommendations i heard about JJ were their blue KT77 as an excellent replacement in EL34/6CA7 gear.
