Determing rectifier tube on Ampex Power Supply

Greetings- I unexpectedly (for 1 cent) won an eBay auction for an Ampex Tube power supply. The known miniature tubes are 12ax7, 6al5, and what looks like a cold cathode 7 pin with the numbers **65 barely visable. The unknown tubes are both octals, the first one off the power transformer having the filament (5 volt?) wires at pin 2 and pin 8, and the B+ at pins 3 and 6 and then into a choke. I looked at most every 5 and 6.3 volt rectifier tube in my RCA RC-20 and couldn't find one that had this "weird" pinout.I haven't got to determining the pinout on the second octal socket, but it "looks" more like a pass tube than it does a rectifier.I bought this thing for parts, but I always like to see if I can get something working before taking it apart. It may prove to be an excellent power supply on it's own. Thank You, Paul
