Thanks for the info!

I'm going with your advice not to power the amp up at this point. It's probably not best to assume it is working, especially after being shipped 3,000 miles.

What I will do is measure the DCR of all the transformer windings and see how they look. Can I send you a list of my readings in case anything raises a red flag for you?

If the transformers look OK, I'll order the parts for a complete rebuild, as well as a quad of KT-88s from you. The front and top panels are in great shape as are the transformers; the trafos are painted black.

I'm really looking forward to this amp being in top form.
