MC275 - Anyone experience with E80CC in 12AT7 or even 12AX7 position?

has anyone tried that long 6085/E80CC twin triode in his mac?
often the E80CC is mentioned as a recommended replacement for the ECC82/12AU7. so using it instead 12AT7 is no good idea, isn`t it? (the heater current is higher than the 12A...type also).
